Report if the headache is accompanied by loss of vision 

Headaches which yield in blurred or partial loss of vision are indicative of serious migraine and they require immediate medical care. Ocular migraine is the biggest suspect with such symptoms and if it is not treated on time, it can easily cause blindness. 

Headaches that result in confusion and dizziness 

If you headache of a few minutes or hours gives you a feeling of dizziness, confusion and light headedness, you should visit an emergency room as soon as possible.
